The Faith Museum

The Faith Museum explores the myriad ways in which faith has shaped lives and communities across Britain, inviting visitors to consider how people across history have encountered faith.

Sitting in the historic Grade 1 listed Scotland Wing of Auckland Castle, the Faith Museum will span two floors.

Referencing the site’s history, Niall McLaughlin Architects looked at the medieval tithe barn building type as inspiration for the character of the custom-built extension, constructed using local sandstone.
